Set up a service menu and packages

Open Service and Business Manager on the website with a Pro account. Services is a rail row under Work. The Android and iOS apps do not include this desk.

A service on this menu is yours. The price is the amount you set. MyStreetBiz does not verify it against a market index. Quotes & Invoices still prints the quote the customer sees. The menu is here so a job can start from the same name, duration, extras and materials every time.

Turn on Service menu in Setup if the row is missing.

Choose Services. If the list is empty, the page says no services yet.

Choose New service. Enter a name such as AC servicing. Set Duration in minutes. Set Price in rupees. Save service.

The list then shows the name, the duration and the price. You can add more rows for optional extras in later edits: gas refill, a trial, a fabric. Standard materials such as a filter sit on the same service so the job page can show what you usually use.

Keep the name the customer would recognise. This is not a public catalogue. It does not appear on Services & Businesses search.

Open Jobs. Choose New job. If the menu has rows, a Service list appears above the job title. Choose the service. If the title is still empty, the desk copies the service name into the job.

Save job. Custom fields and checklist items that belong to that service, plus any default checks you saved in Setup, copy onto the job. Required fields and required checks must be finished before you can complete the job.

The quoted amount on the job starts from the service price if you set one. You can still send a different quote from Quotes & Invoices. Linking an invoice adds a payment row. Completing the job does not mark it paid.

Open Setup. Under Job forms and rules, add a Custom field such as serial number or measurements, and Save field. Add a Checklist item such as inspect condenser, and Save check. Tick the item as a default if every new job should get it. Leave it tied to one service if only that package should get it.

Repair shops often capture a serial. Tailors capture measurements. Salons capture a treatment note. The field is text you type on the job. Photo files still live in Messages or on the listing. A checklist item can ask for a photo note so the person at the bench confirms a picture was taken.

Queue and appointments still holds walk-in numbers and booked slots at the counter. The duration on a Queue service is separate. Accounting and Tula Books still hold the books. Stock on Accounting can inform a material cost you type on the job. This menu does not move inventory by itself.

Turn the module off in Setup if this business does not sell packaged work. The rows stay saved.
