Sign in with a Pro plan, open Software solutions, and start Service and Business Manager as its own website desk for customers, enquiries, jobs and visits.
Service and Business Manager is a Pro website desk on MyStreetBiz. It is the operating centre for customers, enquiries, jobs, tasks and visits. It is not Tula Till, Tula Books or Social and Marketing. Those three still open in the business suite. Quotes & Invoices, Accounting, Queue and appointments and Vehicle GPS Tracking stay specialist tools around this desk.
A Free, Go or Plus plan can open Files, Docs and the other workspace apps when the plan includes them. Those plans cannot open Service and Business Manager unless the owner sent a staff invite and the person joined. Invited desk or technician people use their own sign-in. They do not buy a second Pro plan. The desk is not listed in the Android or iOS app under More. If you open the door in a phone browser, the website still serves it.
You need a verified email. Unverified accounts are asked to confirm the address before the desk will open.
Sign in, then open Software solutions in the header. On a wide screen the menu groups Tula Till, Tula Books and Social and Marketing together. Service and Business Manager sits with the other Pro desks, next to Queue and appointments, not inside Tula Books.
On a phone browser, open More. Software solutions is one row. If the account is not on Pro, the Pro group is one row with a Pro badge and it opens the Software solutions hub. If the account is on Pro, Service and Business Manager appears as its own card.
You can also open Software solutions at the hub. The hub lists workspace apps first. Service and Business Manager has its own card with the Pro website-only label.
Choose Service and Business Manager. The website checks that you are signed in and that you may open this desk: a Pro plan, or a staff invite you already joined while the owner’s Pro plan is still active. If the owner plan has ended, staff cannot open the desk until it is renewed. The records stay saved. If that check passes, it opens the desk on this site. It does not start a Tula Till, Tula Books or Social and Marketing session. Queue, Vehicle GPS Tracking, Quotes & Invoices and Accounting stay on their own Pro doors.
The desk opens as its own packaged app: a left-hand rail, an app bar with the desk name, and no MyStreetBiz header or footer. The ground is olive, not Queue teal or Vehicle GPS civic-blue.
The rail groups Work, People, Insight and Around this desk.
Find a customer, job or task in the app bar. Press the slash key to jump to it.
There is one desk for the account. There is no organisation picker.
Open Customers. Add a name. Phone, email and notes are optional. Choose a customer to open their history and save the name, phone, email and notes. The timeline lists enquiries, jobs, visits, quotes and invoices. If two records share a phone, email or the same name, Merge into this customer keeps one history. The desk keeps one record per person on this account.
Open Enquiries. Choose the customer, write what they need, and add notes if the request is longer than a title. Save enquiry. Choose a row later to correct the title or notes. The row stays open until you mark it quoted, close it, or convert it to a job. Close enquiry if they walked away. Reopen if they come back. Today lists unanswered enquiries so you can see who still needs a reply.
When you are ready to bill, open Tools and choose Quotes & Invoices. Send the quote from that desk. Come back here and choose Mark quoted, then Convert to job. The enquiry is then a job on the same customer. This desk does not invent a quoted price.
Open Jobs. Converted work and jobs you add here share the same list. Archived jobs stay off the list until you choose Show archived. Choose a job to open its page. Assign staff, set a deadline, write instructions, and set work, approval and payment status. Completing a job needs someone assigned. Cancel or archive finished work. Create quote carries the customer and job into Quotes & Invoices; saving the quote links it back here. If the document saves but the job link does not, Quotes & Invoices says Document saved; job link pending and keeps the document so you can retry. Add a task or visit on that page and it stays linked to the job. Use My jobs to see one person's workload. Messages opens the account inbox. Queue still keeps counter bookings.
Choose a stage chip to move the job. Repair starts at Intake after a conversion. Field service starts at Job. Assignment, Progress, Completion, Payment and Follow-up are on both templates. Completing a job that is still in an early stage moves it to Completion so the list matches the work. Type a staff name in Assign to. A new name is added to the roster so the person and the assignment stay the same record. Names you have used before appear as you type. Jobs with no name sit on Today as waiting assignment. Unpaid completed or invoiced work sits as amounts to collect. Technicians can mark their own work blocked or complete. They cannot mark payment or approval. Finished jobs on Follow-up no longer count toward the open-job limit.
Open Tasks for a follow-up that is not the whole job. Link it to a job if you want. Add a due date if you want Today to show it when it is overdue. Mark done when the work is finished.
Open Calendar to add an appointment, a technician visit or a follow-up time. Link the visit to a job so the customer history stays in one place. Choose a visit to change the time. Cancel visit if the slot did not happen. Restore visit if they come back. The time is stored in the desk time zone from Setup. Counter walk-ins and booked slots still live in Queue and appointments. Vehicle GPS Tracking is the place to watch the van. Calendar on this desk is the visit list for the jobs you already have.
Open Setup. Repair starts with intake and diagnosis. Field service starts with a job and a visit. Choose Save setup after you pick one. Changing the template resets the stages unless jobs already exist. You can add a stage with your own name. Unused stages can be removed while at least three remain. Keep stages that already have jobs. Add staff here, then copy their invite. They join with their own sign-in and do not need a second Pro plan.
Laundry, tailoring, salon, coaching and wholesale templates are listed on Setup for later. They are not in this first release. Support, field-service boards and a student register are later specialised views on the same customer and job records.
There is one desk for the account. There is no organisation picker.
This desk does not print a quote or take a queue number. Open Quotes & Invoices from Tools to send the quote. Open Queue and appointments for walk-in numbers at the counter. Open Accounting when you record the payment. Open Tula Till for a counter sale, Tula Books for GST books, Calendar for the workspace week, and Messages to talk to the customer on MyStreetBiz.
The operating centre stays here. Those apps keep their own doors, colours and chrome.
If the steps did not solve it, open a ticket from Help & support, or read the Safety Centre if something looks wrong.
