Open Today or Queue in Queue and appointments, add a name, take a number, then call the next person, mark done, or record a no-show.
Sign in on the website with a Pro plan and open Queue and appointments. This is its own desk, not a page inside Tula Books. Today is the first screen. It shows the number now being served, how many people are waiting, and the remaining appointments for the calendar day in the desk's time zone.
The wait figure is an estimate. It multiplies the number of waiting people by the duration of the first active service you set. The screen says it is not live traffic. Do not read it as a live crowd count or as a promise of how long a person will wait.
If nobody is waiting, Call next is refused until someone takes a number. If someone is already being served, Call next and Call on another row stay off until you mark that visit done or a no-show.
A visit left serving from yesterday does not block Call next today. Numbers start again at one on the next calendar day in the desk's time zone.
Open Queue. This list is walk-ins only. Appointments stay on their own screen.
Type the visitor's name. A phone number is optional. Choose Take a number. The desk issues the next number for today. There is a daily cap so a busy desk cannot create unlimited rows.
A visitor can also take a number from the public visit link without an account, while the desk is open now. Those walk-ins appear in the same Queue list. Staff at the counter can still take a number after hours. Staff at the counter and visitors on the link share one sequence for the day.
If the name is missing, the desk asks for one. If the daily cap is reached, the desk says so and will not issue another number until the next day.
On Today, choose Call next. The oldest waiting walk-in becomes now serving. You can also Call a specific waiting row.
When the visit is finished, choose Done. If the person left, choose No-show. Either action clears now serving so you can call the next person. Cancel removes a waiting ticket that should not be served.
A visitor who still has the visit page open will see that they are next when nobody is waiting ahead of them. If staff marked a no-show or cancel, the visit page says the visit was cancelled or marked as a no-show.
Open Appointments to see booked visits for the day you pick, up to two weeks ahead. To add one, enter a name, choose a service, optionally choose staff, and pick a free slot from the hours you set. Times that have already passed are not offered. The desk refuses a time that overlaps another appointment for the same person, and it refuses a time outside opening hours or on a closed day.
Appointments and walk-ins share the daily number sequence. An appointment still appears on Today until it is done, cancelled, or marked as a no-show.
Paid service checkout on a Services & Businesses listing is a different flow. Queue and appointments handles walk-in numbers and free slots. It does not take payment.
Open Services to set duration and a buffer after each visit. Choose Edit to change a name or time already on the list. Open Staff to name the people or chairs. Open Hours to mark a day closed and to set opening times. Closed days have no slots. Change these when the shop's real times change, because the wait estimate and the public slots both read from this setup.
If the steps did not solve it, open a ticket from Help & support, or read the Safety Centre if something looks wrong.
