Start and stop a live vehicle share from the MyStreetBiz app so the fleet desk and a tracking link can show the moving pin until you stop.
The fleet owner needs Pro to add vehicles on the website. An assigned driver can share from the MyStreetBiz app without Pro. The owner can also share from their own phone. Browsing Software solutions is open.
This is a phone share, like live location in a chat. It is not WhatsApp's own GPS. MyStreetBiz cannot read a WhatsApp live location. It is not B2B Transportation booking progress, and it is not Real Estate Map.
You need the MyStreetBiz app. Fleet admin stays on the website. Nearby search still uses location only while you use the app.
Sign in on the app. Open More, then Vehicle GPS Tracking. If this account has no assigned vehicle and is not Pro, the screen explains what Pro adds and offers See Pro plan.
The list shows vehicles you own and vehicles assigned to you. Each row has the name, plate and last report. A pin is labelled Live only when the last report is less than two minutes old. Older reports say Last seen, with the age, and still show whether the source was This phone or GPS module.
If the list is empty, the owner has not assigned this account yet. Ask them to add your email on the website desk.
Choose how long the trip should run (Until I stop, 1 hour, 4 hours or 8 hours), then Share live location. The app asks to use location while you use it. Nearby Properties, Services and Businesses, Products and Jobs already used that permission.
It then asks to allow location Always. That continues only while this trip share is on. The app says so on the screen. Nearby search does not use Always.
If you refuse Always, sharing can still run while the app stays open. It pauses if you leave the app. Allow Always if the trip continues while you use another app or lock the phone.
Keep the phone powered. A share does not replace a GPS module on a truck that must report without a driver.
The moving pin updates about every fifteen seconds while you are moving, and less often when the phone is still. The website desk and anyone with a tracking link see the same last report. Accuracy, when the phone supplies it, is shown as a distance in metres. It is an estimate from the device, not a surveyed point.
Stop sharing when the trip ends. Choose Stop sharing on the same screen. The pin then becomes Last seen with the time of the last report. It is not labelled Live after that.
If the share had a chosen duration, it also stops when that time ends. Until then, leaving the Vehicle GPS Tracking screen does not stop the share on its own. Stop it yourself.
A phone share is not proof of delivery and is not attached to a B2B Transportation booking in this version. It does not send native push. It does not scrape WhatsApp.
The owner can still pair a GPS module on the same vehicle. The map uses the newest report and still names both sources in the vehicle details.
If the app says the vehicle is not assigned to your account, the owner must assign this email on the website, or share from the owner's own signed-in phone. If it says Vehicle GPS Tracking is included with Pro, this account has no assigned vehicle and is not on Pro.
If location is denied, open the phone's settings for MyStreetBiz and allow location, then try Share live location again.
If the pin never moves, check that the phone can see GPS, that the share is still on, and that you have a network connection so reports can be sent.
If the steps did not solve it, open a ticket from Help & support, or read the Safety Centre if something looks wrong.
