Create a time-limited tracking link for one vehicle and send that URL on WhatsApp so the recipient can watch the pin until the link ends.
A tracking link is included with Pro. Create it on the website desk or in the MyStreetBiz app after you have added the vehicle. The recipient does not need a MyStreetBiz account.
The link shows one vehicle on a map until it expires. It is not a public directory. Search engines are told not to index it. Anyone who has the URL can open it until it ends, so send it only to people who should see that vehicle.
This sends a MyStreetBiz URL on WhatsApp. It does not read WhatsApp live location. Meta does not give that GPS to MyStreetBiz. If someone shares live location inside WhatsApp itself, this product cannot display it.
On the website, open Software solutions, then Vehicle GPS Tracking. The desk opens as its own app with a civic-blue rail and no MyStreetBiz header. Open Your fleet, find the vehicle, choose how long the link should last (1 hour, 8 hours, 24 hours, 3 days or 7 days), then Create tracking link. The vehicle shows the URL. Links on the rail lists every open tracking link. Recipients still see the ordinary website header on the tracking page.
In the app, open More, then Vehicle GPS Tracking. Owners see the same length choices and Create tracking link. The app can open the phone's share sheet with the same URL.
The default window is twenty-four hours. A link cannot run longer than seven days. End this link if you sent it to the wrong person. When the time ends or you end it, the page says the tracking link has ended. Ask the owner to create a new one if the trip is still running.
Choose Send on WhatsApp next to the URL. WhatsApp opens with the vehicle name and the tracking address already filled. Send it to the person who should watch the pin.
If WhatsApp is not installed, copy the URL and send it another way. The page is the same.
The recipient opens the link in a browser or in the app if they have it. They see the vehicle name, plate and last report. A pin is Live only when the last report is less than two minutes old. Otherwise it says Last seen, with the age, and names This phone or GPS module as the source.
If nobody is sharing and no module has reported, the page says no location yet. The link is still valid until it expires.
The map is OpenStreetMap. It is not Google Maps, not Mapbox, and not Real Estate Map. Accuracy, when present, is the figure the phone or module sent. It is not a surveyed point.
A phone share continues until the driver stops it or the chosen duration ends. A GPS module reports while the box is powered and paired. The link does not turn those on by itself.
Do not write that the pin is live if the page says Last seen. Do not write that MyStreetBiz verified the vehicle's place independently. The pin is the last report we stored.
Do not post the URL on a public listing or in Bizit. It is a tracking link for people you choose, not a directory card.
If you sent the wrong vehicle, choose End this link on that vehicle, then create a new link on the right one. Stopping a phone share does not delete the link. The link still shows Last seen after the share stops, until you end it or it expires.
If the steps did not solve it, open a ticket from Help & support, or read the Safety Centre if something looks wrong.
