Open a Products shop with a name, PIN code and hours, then add the first item. This is not a wholesale B2B shop.
A Products shop is how a nearby seller starts selling. You give the shop a name, a PIN code buyers can search near, and optional hours, then you add the first item. Photos, logos and policies wait until after that first publish.
On the website, the page title is Open your shop. The lede reads Name, PIN code and hours. Then add the first item. Photos can wait. This is your Products shop, not a wholesale B2B listing. The back link is My Products.
On the app, the same form is titled Open your shop, with the subtitle Name, PIN code and hours. Photos can wait.
Open it from any of these places:
You need a verified email. On the website, the shop page sends you to verify if the email is not verified yet. On the app, Open your shop in Start selling stays disabled until the email is verified. Sell still opens the form; publishing needs a verified email.
The form asks for four things. Shop name is required and must be between 2 and 80 characters. On the website the hint under the field is Required · 2–80 characters.
PIN code is required. Buyers search near this PIN code. On the website the hint reads Required. Buyers search near this PIN code. On the app the same sentence is the hint under PIN code. The field accepts 3 to 20 characters.
City (optional) is a free-text city. Hours (optional) on the website is a fieldset of weekdays and a time zone. On the app, hours start from common hours chips, then you change any day. Leave a day blank if the shop is closed that day.
The website form also says Photos can wait. After this you add the first item to the shelf. The submit button is Open shop and add an item. While it saves, the website button reads Opening shop…
Opening the shop creates the public shop name buyers will see. You can later finish identity, photos and policies on the Brand page editor. You can hold up to five Brand pages.
After a successful save, the website opens the new post form with Add to your shelf above the title Add an item. The description reads Search a packaged product, or type a loose item. Confirm today's price. Buyers collect from your shop.
The app opens the same Product post editor after the shop saves. Work through the steps, then Save as draft or Publish now.
You can still open Post a product without a shop. The form then shows the Open a shop banner. A post without a shop appears under your username until you open a shop.
Your plan sets how many Product posts you can keep. When the limit is reached, the new post page shows This plan has reached its Product posts limit. You can still save a private draft, then archive another post or change plan before you publish.
The Start selling checklist marks Open your shop done after a published Product post, not after the shop form alone. If you open a shop and leave the first item as a draft, Open your shop stays open.
If a shop already exists, Open your shop on the website does not show the form again. It sends you to Add an item on the shelf.
On My Products, the header button then reads Add to shelf. The Brand page card on the Overview tab shows your brand name, with Manage brands and, until you reach five, Create another brand.
A second Brand page is another public name, not a second first shop. Use Create another brand or the Brand page editor when you already have a shop and need another public brand.
B2B shops are for trade stock other businesses order. The B2B account form is a different door, with categories you stock and orders from suppliers.
A Products shop is for people nearby who buy or rent an item. Sell keeps both choices: Open a shop under Start selling, and the B2B choices under More ways to post.
If you meant to list a wholesale shop, leave this form and open your B2B account instead. Putting received B2B stock in front of Products buyers is a later step, not this form.
The Overview tab still labels the card Brand page. When you have no shop it shows No brand page yet, with View shop and Open a shop.
Once a shop exists, Brand page completion on Overview lists remaining fields such as Brand logo and Opening hours. Each open row is marked Add until that field is filled.
Create Brand page on the five-section editor publishes the full identity, storefront, story, policies and business details. Image uploads on that editor need a saved page first.
Save the shop name and PIN code with care. The public link uses the brand name plus your username, and buyers search near the PIN code you entered.
