Selling and renting out Products

Create an account and verify your email. Then choose Sell a Product in the Products area of your account, or Post a product from the Post menu.

Your plan sets how many Product posts you can publish and how many Product images each post can carry. Plan & usage shows both. This is a listing cap, not a fee on your sales.

The form has four steps: Details, Location, Photos and Publish.

• Details: choose the category and whether the item is for sale or rent. For rent, choose a price per hour, day, week or month. Add an honest title, description, condition and price.
• Location: set the area the item is in. Buyers see the area, not your exact address.
• Photos: add clear photos that show any wear or damage, up to your plan's Product image limit. Photos are resized to 2048 px and 400 KB or less. Video is not supported.
• Publish: save a private draft, or publish. The form points to any field that needs attention.

• Every seller has a shop page that lists their published posts. Use View shop in the Products area of your account to open it.
• You can create up to 5 Brand pages. A Brand page address uses the brand name plus your username.
• MyStreetBiz does not check brand names. Only use a brand you have the right to use.
• Buyers can follow a Brand page and find it again under Saved.

Delivery settings hold your shop defaults: the pickup PIN code and the order option. Each Product post can override its delivery methods, order option and maximum order quantity.

• Delivery methods: Pickup (the buyer collects), Seller drop (you deliver, after agreeing the place in Messages), Courier (India-wide) and Same-day (city).
• Pay first: the buyer pays you and attaches proof, then you accept.
• Message first: you agree payment in Messages, the buyer can attach proof, then you accept.

When a buyer messages a post or makes an offer, it appears under Item enquiries and offers in the Products area of your account. Approve it to open the conversation in Messages.

Your plan also sets how many enquiries you can answer each month. Enquiry limit in your account shows the allowance and whether any enquiry is being held.

Orders lists everything buyers have ordered from you, with the next step on each order.

• Check payment proof: read the order and the proof, then accept, or reject with a reason the buyer will see.
• Accept the order, or decline it if you cannot fulfil it.
• Pickup and Seller drop: mark the order ready when the buyer can collect or when you can drop it off, then mark it done after the handover.
• Courier: when a courier is booked, pack the parcel, print the label and keep it ready for collection. Orders shows tracking until delivery.
• Each order has a packing slip you can print.

After a completed sale you can ask the buyer for a rating from the conversation. Product ratings in your account lists the ratings you have received and lets you appeal one with relevant facts.

• Edit or archive a post from the Products area of your account. Archiving removes it from public search and keeps its record.
• Archive posts that are sold or no longer available, so buyers do not message you about them.
• Deleting your account removes your Product posts through the deletion process.

• Only list items you own or are allowed to sell.
• Describe the condition honestly and show important wear in the photos.
• Never ask a buyer for an OTP, UPI PIN, CVV or remote-access code.
