Never pay for a job

The rule

Never pay for an interview, shortlist, offer, training seat, equipment release or guaranteed job. Genuine employers explain lawful costs in writing and do not demand advances.

MyStreetBiz does not guarantee employment, salary, the employer’s identity or that a vacancy is real. Company, role and pay on a Jobs post are from the employer.

Checks before you apply or travel

• Read the duties, workplace, hours and eligibility on the post.
• Apply through Jobs so the application stays in My Jobs.
• Verify the employer through official sites, a real address and a live conversation — not chat-only interviews on a personal email.
• Watch for high pay, urgency, vague duties, or a request that you receive or transfer money.
• Never share passwords, OTPs, UPI PINs or unnecessary identity documents.

How to report

Report the Jobs post. For profiles or Messages, raise an urgent safety ticket. For immediate danger, crime or payment fraud, contact emergency services, police, your bank and official channels. MyStreetBiz cannot provide emergency help.
