How Messages work

What Messages is for

Messages holds accepted conversations about Products, Services & Businesses, Properties and Bizit. Send a request from a post or profile. Until it is accepted, there is no live chat or phone-number exchange.

Apply to Jobs from the job post. Applications stay in My Jobs, not Messages.

What stays private

Public pages show your username, not your phone. Share contact or meeting details only when ready. Leaving MyStreetBiz makes agreements harder to track.

• Accepted threads live under Messages in your account.
• 1:1 conversations can include text, photos, documents and, where available, voice or video calls.
• Group chats stay text-only. There is no group Call or Video.

Never send passwords, OTPs, UPI PINs, CVVs, full card numbers or remote-access codes in Messages. MyStreetBiz staff will not ask for those.

If something feels wrong

Report conversations in Messages. For fraud, abuse or urgent risk, use the Safety Centre. If you cannot sign in, use Contact. Send website bugs through Report a problem.
